A very fine and impressively sized, late 19th Century engraving with later hand colouring, after the original painting by Sir Edward John Poynter (1836–1919), engraved by T. Joubert. The engraving shows the Greek Myth of Hipponemes and Atalanta. The publisher's details and date of publication are inscribed at the top edge.
Both Poynter and Joubert have signed to the lower left and right.
On heavy wove.
