About the Item
Original South Africa a Place in the Sun vintage travel poster. Linen-backed and ready to frame. This is now a rare original poster to find for this South Africa travel. Very good condition and ready to frame. South Beach, Durban, South Africa.
Printed in Holland by Rotogravure. Published by order and at the expense of the Government of the Union of South Africa. Distributed by the South African Tourist Corporation.
A small restored tear at the center bottom (in the black band area) was corrected during linen backing. No stains, nor missing paper. Bright original colors. The poster artwork indicates the separation of white and blacks in South Africa at the beaches.
