"Jurassic World Complete 5 Poster Set Robot Dinosaur Set" by Hajime Sorayama
Description:
Embark on a captivating journey into the realm of futuristic fantasy with the "Jurassic World Complete 5 Poster Set Robot Dinosaur Set" by renowned Japanese illustrator, Hajime Sorayama. This exclusive collection comprises five meticulously crafted posters, each showcasing Sorayama's iconic blend of precise detail, eroticism, and futuristic aesthetics.
Crafted in A2 size (23.4in×16.5in), these posters were originally made available as rare ephemera exclusively at the Tokyo Exhibition. Since then, they have become sought-after treasures for collectors worldwide, with the official ephemera bearing a subtle imprint in the bottom corner, serving as a testament to their authenticity and rarity.
Hajime Sorayama, born on February 22, 1947, has earned international acclaim for his groundbreaking illustrations, particularly his intricately detailed portrayals of feminized, biomechanoid robots. His work blurs the boundaries between the organic and the mechanical, exploring themes of sexuality, technology, and the human condition.
Sorayama's fascination with robotics and the future is deeply rooted in his upbringing in post-war Japan, where rapid technological advancements sparked his imagination. Influenced by the works of artists such as H.R. Giger and Ridley Scott's "Alien" franchise, Sorayama developed his signature style, which he describes as "superrealism."
In addition to his illustrious career as an illustrator, Sorayama is also celebrated for his design work on the original Sony AIBO robotic "pet," further solidifying his status as a visionary in the realm of futuristic art and design.
The "Jurassic World Complete 5 Poster Set Robot Dinosaur Set" not only showcases Sorayama's mastery of his craft but also offers collectors a rare opportunity to own a piece of ephemeral artistry from one of Japan's most iconic illustrators. Whether displayed individually or as a complete set, these posters are sure to captivate viewers with their mesmerizing blend of technology, sensuality, and imagination.

Hajime Sorayama (空山 基, Sorayama Hajime, born February 22, 1947) is a Japanese[1] illustrator known, along for his design work on the original Sony AIBO, for his precisely detailed, erotic portrayals of feminine robots. He describes his highly detailed style as "superrealism", which he says "deals with the technical issue of how close one can get to one's object."[1] Modern English-language editions of Sorayama's art books give his name as Hajime Sorayama, using conventional Western order, with given name followed by surname. Some older publications give his name as Sorayama Hajime, using native Japanese name order, which puts the family name first.
