GEFALLEN (Killed in Action) 1920 (Klipstein 153 (1st state, a of c of 2 states)
Lithograph on laid paper. Image 16 ¼ x 15 ¼ inches, Large Full Sheet, 25 ½ x 19 3/8 inches. Signed and inscribed "Stein II". The 2nd version Originally intended for the series "War". The stone was destroyed after printing. Generally good condition, several repairs expertly done at the sheet edges. Some ripples to the sheet edges. Some very slight toning.
