About the Item

Original JAPAN, Fly by BOAC to the Caribbean. Small format. Archival linen-backed original vintage European travel poster in mint condition; ready to frame. This antique original poster was printed in the 1950s. On 1 April 1940, BOAC started operations and continued operating overseas services throughout World War II. In 1949 BOAC absorbed two other British carriers, British European Airways (BEA) and British South American Airways (BSAA). In 1974 BOAC and BEA merged, forming today's British Airways. This B.O.A.C. is an Original Lithograph Vintage Travel Poster, not a reproduction. This poster is conservation-mounted, linen-backed, and in excellent condition.
