Ancient Roman Ruins is a beautiful black and white etching and burin on laid paper, representing the Sepulcher of the Plauzia family in Tivoli and the Leftovers from the Mausoleum of Adriano, today Castel S. Angel. Original Title: Sepolcro della Famiglia Plauzia a Tivoli, Avanzi del Mausoleo di Adriano, Oggi Castel S. Angelo.  In very good condition, with a lifelong impression, full margins, this original print is surely from a series (numbered as the 80th plates) reproduces Roman monuments and antiquities as the tendency begun by Piranesi. Including a white cardboard passepartout, cm 49 x 34.
