About the Item

Signed and numbered in pencil from the edition of 9. Finely detailed Black and white landscape of trees along the top of a rocky outcropping. Veronique Bonnardel was born in 1961 in Marseilles, and grew up in the Valley of Ubaye, in the Haute Provence Alps. This area is among her favorite sources of graphic and poetic inspiration. She graduated from the l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Marseille. She also studied the History of Art and Archéologie at the University of Lyon II.

    Donald Furst has created a series of 10 mezzotints based on Highway 421. U.S. Route 421 is a spur route of U.S. 21. It runs for 941 miles from Fort Fisher, North Carolina south of Wilmington to Michigan City, Indiana at U.S. 20. This image, "421 Nights: Reach", shows the reach of some storage tanks.
