Lovely hardback monograph with illustrated book jacket and text by Wolf Kahn and an Introduction by John Updike. On the title page is a gorgeous ink dedication which reads, "For Vinnie with friendship and gratitude - Wolf Kahn". This book is in very good condition, with minor corner bumping and minor scuffing/scratching to dust jacket. The inside page are clean and crisp. this makes a beautiful gift! In this volume ,the artist shares his unique perspective on the creative process--and many of his own paintings--as he details his journeys across America in search of inspiration while inviting readers to take a peek at his own creative process, recounting the adventures he has had and the people he has met along the way. 15,000 first printing - though those were not signed. Collectible when hand signed as the present work.
