Original vintage winter sport travel poster for the Kandahar Ski School in Murren Kandahar with the slogan - Its sun terrace is waiting for you / Seine Sonnenterrasse wartet auf Sie - featuring an image of a smiling lady holding up her ski poles in greeting to the viewer from a snow topped balcony with a Swiss flag on the side and the coat of arms emblem on the front, the stylised lettering above and curved below on the blue background. Design and print by Brugger A.G. Meiringen. Artwork by the Swiss painter and printer Arnold Brugger (1888-1975) Atelier Brugger. The Swiss resort village of Murren is located in the Bernese Oberland mountain region; the Kandahar Ski Club was formed in 1924 by British alpine skiers. Very good condition, minor creasing, small tears.
