Original vintage motor cycling sport poster for the Rennbahn Oerlikon race featuring an illustration of a man on a motorcycle speeding along the velodrome track in front of a cyclist with the title text and information on the yellow background, including the names of the professional racing and amateur riders - Frosio Chaillot Besson Heimann Schar Scherens (world champion / weltmeister) van Vliet Derksen Gosselin Astolfi Plattner Kaufmann Hagenbuch Schandorff (Denmark / Danemark) Hijzelendoorn (Holland) Sensever (France / Frankreich) Terruzzi (Italy / Italien) Kamber Roth - and note along the bottom reading: Bei schlechter witterung im Hallenstadion / In bad weather in the Hallenstadion. Artwork by the Swiss artist Eugene Fauquex (Eugen Ludwig Fauquex; 1905-1987). Built in 1912 Oerlikon is an open air velodrome that held various Track Cycling World Championships; the indoor Hallenstadion Zurich sports stadium opened in 1939. Good condition, folds, creasing.
