Original vintage travel advertising poster - Southern Electric Live In Surrey Free From Worry New housing estates Frequent electric trains Details SR stations - featuring colourful artwork by the artist, metal worker and designer Gregory Brown (Frederic Gregory Brown; 1887-1941) of a picturesque street with houses and a clock tower view between trees in the foreground. Issued by Southern Railway to promote the good transport links from London and encourage people to move to Surrey. Printed by McCorquodale and Co Ltd, London. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, restored folds, minor staining, backed on linen.
