Original vintage food and drink advertising poster issued by the Ministry of Food - Milk The Backbone of Young Britain - featuring a great design by James Fitton (1899-1982) depicting a pink outline of a boy drinking a cup of milk with a bottle of milk highlighted by blue as his spine against the dark background, the stylised title text with the crown logo below. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Fosh and Cross Ltd, London. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, browning, backed on linen.
