Original vintage advertising poster for Land-Rover Santana Fernando Rodriguez Metalurgica de Santa Ana featuring images of off-road Land Rover pick-up jeep models with black star shapes within a pink and orange border, a yellow Land Rover car against a star shape over the border with the text below. The Santana Motor company (1954-2011) was licensed to produce Land Rovers from 1961-1990 under the Land Rover Santana name. The Land Rover vehicle was the first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive car with doors on it, initially designed by the British engineer Maurice Wilks in 1947 and built as a post-war jeep for agricultural use. Land Rover is now owned by Jaguar Land Rover (since 2013); JLR being owned by the Indian Tata Motors company since 2008. Good condition, restored folds, restored creasing, restored paper loss in bottom right corner, staining, foxing, backed on linen.
