Original vintage movie poster for the 1981 re-release of the classic Walt Disney animation film Alice in Wonderland - 'Tis brillig! - first released in Technicolor by Buena Vista Distribution in 1951. Colourful and fun cartoon artwork featuring the title of the family film in the centre in stylised purple letters on a yellow background with an image of Alice sitting on a mushroom being served tea at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party by the Mad Hatter with the March Hare standing behind her and pointing to the four cups, the White Rabbit playing the trumpet and blowing out the slogan caption with the Cheshire cat grinning on top of the title text above, decorated with swirls of red, purple, blue and pink around the borders. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, small restored paper loss in bottom edge, backed on linen.

Each screen print measures 26 x 21 inches. Each screen print is hand signed, dated, numbered by Robert Indiana. Roman numeral edition XLII/L (there were also a main edition of 200 and 50 artist's proofs), Artwork is in excellent condition. Certificate of Authenticity included.
