Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster produced in Britain for use in the USSR. This poster is part of a series of posters by British artists to support the war cooperation between Great Britain and the USSR. The design features a scientist wearing a white lab coat pouring liquid from a glass bottle into a beaker with chemical equipment in the background with a pledge from the Young Scientists of Britain on the side and the bold black text below, all set against a light blue black and orange background, the wording in Russian and English reading - We help make more deadly bombs and guns. We help save lives and give health to the wounded. We work night and day so that Fascism may be crushed and mankind freed. And after the peace we will work with our brave brothers and sisters of the USSR to make a better world for ourselves and our children. Young Scientists of Britain. We are pledged to smash the Fascist barbarians. Printed in England by Sanders Phillips & Co Ltd. Very good condition, creasing, folds, stamp on reverse.
