Original vintage skiing travel poster - Ski Italy on Europe's Most Exciting Mountains Alitalia Airlines - featuring a skier with goggles on his head and holding a pair of red skis over his shoulder, looking up at the snowy mountain peaks below a blue sky, the photo captioned - Walter Foeger World Famous Ski Instructor. The champion alpine ski racer from Austria Walter Foeger (1917-2007) developed the Natur Teknik parallel skiing teaching method worldwide and transformed the Jay Peak mountain in Vermont into a major ski area: he was elected to the US National Ski Hall of Fame in 2005. Very good condition, minor creasing, minor staining, backed on linen.
