Original vintage travel poster for Hungary - featuring a dynamic design depicting an industrial smelting pot pouring liquid metal in the red, white and green colours of the Hungarian flag with the country's products and illustrations below including workers in factories with the smoke rising next to red stars on the black background on the side, an agriculture farmer on a tractor in a field with wheat, fruit and grapes for wine making on the red stripe, a teacher with young children and man relaxing on a deck chair in front of people playing with a ball above a lady and man reading on the central white stripe, and holiday makers enjoying an historic building above a stylised sun and sailing boats on a lake with a couple carrying their bags next to a steam train and bus, a ferry boat and propeller plane flying out of the green stripe, the title text above. Issued by Ibusz Hungarian Tourist Information Office, Budapest. Printed at Athenaeum. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper losses, restored pinholes, backed on linen.

Each screen print measures 26 x 21 inches. Each screen print is hand signed, dated, numbered by Robert Indiana. Roman numeral edition XLII/L (there were also a main edition of 200 and 50 artist's proofs), Artwork is in excellent condition. Certificate of Authenticity included. All reasonable offers will be considered. About the Artist: Robert Indiana (1928–2018) was an American Pop artist whose work drew inspiration from signs, billboards, and commercial logos.
