Original vintage travel poster promoting tourism in the Soviet Union featuring a great illustration of a cosmonaut / astronaut in a space suit with a red star above and an image of a skyscraper and the Moscow Kremlin inside a dark green circle, the Intourist logo in red with the text below in bold black letters - Visit the Soviet Union The country of the world's first spaceman! / Besuchen sie die sowjetunion Die heimat des ersten weltraumfahrers! Founded in 1929, Intourist was the official state travel agency of the USSR / Soviet Union. The Soviet pilot and cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin (1934-1968) was the first man in space in 1961. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears.
