Original vintage Soviet space propaganda poster - Comrades! Soviet land henceforth became the shore of the universe! / Товарищи! Советская земля Отныне стала берегом Вселенной! - featuring a dynamic design featuring a young man smiling at the viewer and holding up a green return travel ticket from the USSR and the Cosmos with a space rocket flying over the Moscow Kremlin clock tower on one side and planets in a dark blue starry sky on the other side in the background, the slogan in bold red lettering below. The pilot and cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin (Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin; 1934-1968) became the first man in space on 12 April 1961. Good condition, restored folds, light stains, restored paper losses in margins, backed on linen.
