Original vintage advertising poster promoting French wines - Les vignobles d'Alsace Diffuse par le Centre d'information du vin d'Alsace Colmar-France / The Vineyards of Alsace Distributed by the Alsace Wine Information Centre Colmar France. The poster features a colourful decorative map of the Alsace region marking the river Rhine and the vineyards with coats of arms and town names surrounded by images of chateau castles and houses, people drinking wine, wine makers and a wine press, a farmer milking a cow and wine bottles with pitchers, grapes and glasses on the side, and a smiling sun in the centre of a compass. Text over blue background: Les Cepages des vins d'Alsace / The grape varieties of Alsace wines Sylvaner Riesling Gewurztraminer Pinot Blanc Tokay d'Alsace Muscat d'Alsace framed in a grape vine leaf border. Good condition, creasing, tears, minor staining.
