Joseph François von Götz was a lawyer, artist, illustrator, but primarily a careful observer of human behaviour. Upon the flourishing streets of Augsburg, Bavaria, he sketched its various colourful characters - from the bespectacled librarian, through to the flamboyant chevalier.
