Writer: Robert Sylvester (original screenplay).
The life and career of Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis, who held the title for 12 years--longer than any other boxer in history--and who had to not only battle opponents inside the ring and racism outside it. Joe Louis, known as the "Brown Bomber," was considered the greatest boxer of all time. Joe Louis was not only one of the most beloved boxers of all time, he was also one of the most important Black Americans of the 20th century.
This is a rare genuine 27" x 41" U.S. one-sheet ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released and meant for theatrical display. The poster is archival linen backed and ready to frame. The original theater movie poster fold marks have been professionally restored. There is some light foxing at the original fold marks at the center top, but no paper loss. The colors are still bright and vibrant.
