From the limited edition of 108,000 published in 2020, with full margins, each with two central folds (as issued), in perfect cosmetic condition accompanied with Hackney Today Newspaper.
British street artist Stik began painting his signature stick figures on the streets of east London in the early 2000s. The spare designs, which the artist partially based on Japanese kanji, appeared in doorways and on the sides of buildings while the artist was living in homeless shelters and social housing. In the years since Stik’s artmaking has expanded beyond his native London streets and into gallery spaces across the city. Works from his studio practise—which includes painting, sculpture, and editioned prints—have fetched six-figure prices on the secondary market. Though his signature iconography is minimalist in execution, Stik maintains a commitment to social justice both inside and outside his studio. His 2014 mural Little Big Mother calls attention to the need for social housing, while proceeds from an auction for Holding Hands (Maquette) (2020) helped fund an outdoor sculpture programme in Hackney.

Stik
Stik is a British graffiti artist known for his signature stick figures. He started painting graffiti in 2001 and his work first appeared on the streets of London in the early 2000s. Stik's art is instantly recognizable and he uses elementary visual forms to quickly and easily convey his messages for social change. He is anonymous and his identity is largely unknown to the public. Stik's artwork evokes empathy on a fundamental level and is both physically and intellectually accessible to anyone. He is committed to bringing awareness to social issues and his legacy is expected to transcend his generation.

Backyard Garden belongs to the set of twenty lithographs from the “Snatched Ecstasy of Yue Minjun”, which comes as a limited edition of 130 rare books. The work of Yue Minjun is instantly recognizable with its uniform laughing faces, the artist's faces. Minjun creates various realities against which the laughing figures are rendered, thus creating ambiguous images, often with the sinister atmosphere, which comes as his personal cynical reaction to various social and political dimensions of contemporary Chinese realities. Immediately humorous and sympathetic, Yue Minjun’s paintings offer a light-hearted approach to philosophical enquiry and contemplation of existence. Yue’s self-portraits have been describe by theorist Li Xianting as “a self-ironic response to the spiritual vacuum and folly of modern-day China”, thus the acidic tones and commercialized vacuity of his works are used to underscore the insincerity of his figures’ mirth. “Art should be an expression of one's particular feelings and should be direct and deep. So I drew one person, and then added another and another until there were crowds of them. He is best known for oil paintings depicting formations of his laughing self-portraits in various settings.
