Original poster - The Medicine of Capital does not cure - Politics - May 68

Circa 1970

About the Item

The 1970s in France were indelibly marked by a revolt movement that shook the country in May 1968. During this period of crisis, the paralysis of the country is total: the newspapers do not appear any more because of the strikes, the television and the radio are controlled by the State and diffuse only filtered information. The poster will thus prove to be the only means of communication, of free and fast information. It then finds its place by returning to its primary function: to inform. From then on, the wall newspaper is reborn. Of a pure, concentrated graphics, stripped of any artifice, aiming only at the effectiveness, these posters marked the French history.
