About the Item

The project of this engaging artwork was made in 1974 by the Brasilian artist Edival ramosa, during his stay in Italy, from 1964 to 1974. In this engraved steel artwork we can find elements in black plexiglass: the artist spends a lot of his time experimenting this plastic material. Most of these artworks are now exhibited in the MAP, Museum of Plastic Art of Varese (Italy). During his stay in Italy he known an other important Italian artist: Lucio Fontana. He was young when Ramosa met Arnaldo Pomodoro in Brazil. Pomodoro said to Ramosa to come to Italy and so it was. Ramosa became Pomodoro's pupil and for consequence all the Ramosa work was influenced by the well known sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro. He exhibited in Italy Australia and Brazil when he came back in the 1980 and where he opened his art Studio. This artwork made in 1974 is a multiple of 30 specimen. This artwork is numbered n. 29/30 and signed by the artist The artwork will be shipped with its Certificate of Authenticity
