Katerina Krotenko
Katerina is a multicultural designer in vocation to work with heritage contexts. She is keen on metaphysical materiality and experience design that embodies memories and stories. Katerina works with colours, shapes, and materials to delight the senses. The medium she feels the most for is glass, because of its whimsical character that allows for highly intuitive and beautifully spontaneous work. Katerina lives and works in Helsinki, Finland. Her art works have been exhibited in Helsinki (Designmuseo, Lokal, Helsinki Design Week), Milan (Milan Design Week, Salone del Mobile, Castello Sforzesco, Museo delle Arti Decorative), Venice (The Italian Glass Weeks, Venice HUB Under35, Palazzo Giustinian Lolin), St.Petersburg (Palaty), Moscow (Decorative Art Museum). Katerina received 4 international awards for her work with glass. Her works are published in design magazines like AD Architectural Digest, Interni, ELLE Decoration, etc.
