About the Item
This gorgeous solid Baltic Birch plywood sculpture suggests a complex vortex of energy. Contours are created using 60 individually cut plywood plates which show the contrasting edge grain. This piece is available in any size starting at 26" high (including metal base). Embedded bearings in the base allow the piece to rotate freely. This sculpture requires a 7 week lead time to fabricate.

Lyle London
Lyle London grew up in Hawaii and graduated with a BA Cum Laude from Dartmouth College. His fine art sculpture strives to embody the alluring mystery of the natural world. Spiral geometry is a prevailing theme and is explored extensively in artworks over the last 20 years. He has created many large scale public art works as well as hundreds of smaller works and commissions for private placement. Clients include health care facilities, universities, hotels, and cruise ships, and municipalities. He was the founder and principal designer for an architectural metals and design business for over 25 years. 3D CAD provides a platform for his creative process in designing and engineering his work.
