About the Item
Silk Road Pyramid, Original Reclaimed Wood Free Standing Sculpture
36" x 48" x 48" (HxWxD)
Wood, Resin
Repurposed wood of varying coloration and patterning is pieced together with resin forming horizontal stripes on four triangular surfaces. These four triangles are then assembled together to create a free standing pyramid out of sustainable materials.
Ships as seen, fully assembled.
Artist Commentary:
Made from the material that goes into making plywood. Very thin-cut found-wood with resin. Made in the style of marquetry. For display directly on the floor, but looks great on a slightly-raised surface as well. The work comes apart into four triangular panels for easier shipping.
