This custom shaped bowl has an organic flow with edges that have been carefully sculpted to add a visual interest to the shape. The blue color has been gently dappled on to a white layer, creating many hues of blues.
Sherry Been is a Manhattan-based artist, sculpting in metal and using the enameling process to create unique sculptures of glass on copper. The compelling theme of her artwork is to elevate self-worth in marginalized individuals and communities by love-induced artwork that amplifies a “YOU MATTER” message. Sherry Been's world is a crucible of artistry and alchemy. From her Manhattan studio, she breathes life into metal, transforming it into vibrant sculptures through the ancient art of enameling.
