Sculpture New York City: Liberty enlightening the world; the statue designed by the sculptor Auguste Bartholdi and originally built by Gustave Eiffel has become a symbol of freedom and emancipation from oppression. Alain Godon’s sculpture in a patinated bronze measuring 46 cm wide, 40 cm deep and 57 cm high and weighing 22 kilos gives it a “face lift”.
The last one of the edition currently available on the market. Edition of 8 + 4 AP.
This artwork has been presented at the exhibition "Matisse/Godon, New York - Tahiti, L'architecture du rêve" at the Musée Matisse Le Cateau-Cambrésis from October 14th to March 18th 2018.
