During the day during the carnival, beautiful ladies and gallant gentlemen danced in the squares. The night became a time of recklessness, love affairs and bloody duels.
Its roots go back to the distant pagan past, the word "carnival" itself comes from the Latin carrus navalis - this was the name of the ritual wagon-ship, on which fertility idols were transported during the holidays in Europe in the Bronze Age. The main prototype of modern carnivals was the ancient Roman Saturnalia. On the days dedicated to Saturn, the god of harvest and fertility, the Romans held festivities, as if resurrecting the golden age of universal equality and prosperity.

- Figure of a woman. Ceramic sculpture with meaning. Feminine energy. White Way.Located in Zofingen, AGCeramic sculpture "White Way". With this work I am talking about the state of a woman when she is connected to the natural source of her power, when she is light at heart. In this case, a woman's actions are filled with favorable energy. I have depicted this energy in the form of a white band that she weaves with her hands. The work is made of white white clay with fine chamotte. The figure has a matte rough surface of cream color with white engobe flecks. The white band is tied with polyester thread.
