Takioka by Jacques Owczarek - Animal bronze black sculpture of a turtle

Contemporary

About the Item

Takioka is a sculpture by French contemporary artist Jacques Owczarek. This turtle in bronze takes shape through a series of lines, edges and curves. Jacques Owczarek discovered sculpture at the age of 30 and considers that he was really born at that moment. He crafts his pieces with extreme thoroughness and is on an eternal quest for perfection. His wildlife sculptures are incredible: seen from one angle it is impossible to imagine their form from another. You have to circle the piece to discover all the different aspects. Much sensibility but also humour arise from his sculptures which seem to have imbibed the soul of their creator. This sculpture is available in format 13 cm x 27 cm x 19 cm, edition of 8 plus 4 artist's proofs. Sculpture is numbered, signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
