A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Paul Rousso attended the Cleveland Institute of Art in Ohio and went on to earn his BFA from the California College of the Arts in 1981. In his work, he deals with elements from pop culture, such as candy wrappers, newspaper pages and, more recently, dollar bills. For more than 25 years, Paul Rousso’s work has been regularly exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the United States.
