About the Item
It is with great pleasure that we present the original works of American artist Robert Russin (1914-2007)
Robert Russin began his career as a WPA sculptor, and received dozens of commissions during his career both public and private. Russin created the famous bronze figurative sculpture that resides in front of the City of Hope in California. He also created the 14 foot bronze head of Abraham Lincoln which was installed on the Lincoln highway in Wyoming, and was awarded numerous public and private commissions throughout his career. The Robert Russin sculptures come directly from the personal collection of the artist and family.
"Emergence", is the original hand carved sculpture in Altissimo Marble, signed in the base, carved in 1985, and measuring 215.5 x 24 inches. An eleven foot version of, "Emergence", was installed in front of the Menorah Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
