Fine Grand Tour bronze sculpture of mercury flying on the wind after Giambologna. Polished rouge marble and bronze attached base. Green marble pedestal. Inscribed Jean de Bologne ( Giambologna). Over all height 8'7". Mercury with base measures: 44" H. and pedestal measures: 47" H x 12" W. Dark verde gris patina, mid-19th century.
