A charming, kitsch comical post-war porcelain ashtray or catchall, vide-poche. Made in Japan during the late 1940s or early 1950s. The original "Japan" label is affixed to the back.
The piece is in great vintage and intact condition; crazing is evident within the porcelain wear commensurate with its age.
