"Niemand and Soldier Duo" is of a limited edition of 25 works, with numbers 12 -16 currently available. The Duo will be cast and hand-finished especially for you and shipped directly from the artist's studio in Slovakia to your location. Shipping quotes are approximate. Each Duo comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
In German, the meaning of the word "Niemand" ranges from "nobody", "none", and "no one" to "anybody". Apply that to Viktor's unique sculptures and a dose of humorous social commentary meets a meditation on the human ego. Much of the artist's work is autobiographical and contains references to family, self, and music (he still has a band with which he performs) - an unselfconscious examination of his life and loves. Viktor's signature Niemands, displayed at numerous museums overseas and in hotel and private collections worldwide, come in multiple formats that give us access to each of our petulant, inner toddlers.
