About the Item
The tiger has always been a symbol of swiftness in decision-making, lightning-fast reaction and love of risk. The tiger favors people who love to compete and disguise an iron will with soft, courteous manners. These are those who know how to stand up for themselves, they are brave and generous. Natural optimism gives all the actions of the Tiger a bright shine. luck. He is an unsurpassed hunter. She loves order in everything, but lies and hypocrisy cannot stand the spirit. Those whose talisman is the Tiger are always passionate and active - they love to surround themselves with chic and luxury, they love a well-fed, beautiful life.
The sculptor depicts the Tiger at the moment of Triumph! In an energetic movement with a clawed paw, he leans on a beautiful ball, symbolizing the earthly sphere, and in his right paw he squeezes a mutually sharp sword, as a symbol of the Power of the conqueror and the guard of his territory. The helmet on his head is crowned with a golden laurel branch of the winner. The armor shines with gold and nickel.
The mechanical wing on the dorsal plate, shining with nickel edges, is straightened, giving the whole composition an indomitable energy. Powerful muscles and veins are tense, showing excellent figure of a striped predator. He walks along a mechanical, encrusted with clockwork and optical lenses, kinetic pedestal, framed by cubic rocks resembling pyrite crystals, gold ingots of which seem to float in the air.
A masterpiece and unique author's composition, its modern solution and execution, noble materials of gold, bronze, amethysts, nickel, mechanisms, optical lenses, labradorite, jaspilite and, of course, the sparkle of the eyes of a grinning tiger will not leave anyone indifferent. An ideal sculpture for the home of a successful person, like the Tiger, who loves all the best and impeccable.

Pisapia's "Expedition Series," inspired by sea voyages, is about meeting life’s challenges with courage and purpose. It connects to the idea expressed by J.W. Goethe: “Character is formed in the stormy billows of the world.” Taking up life’s tasks can require one to go against the wind. The feeling of determination to achieve and continue steering through obstacles is poured into the pure forms; a dynamic balancing of the straight and curve on different axes. "With a rounded starting point," Pisapia explains, "I add on a variety of disparate angles, diverse curves, and twisting planes. I carve and smooth the surfaces, bringing out particular tensions and transitions." Flavius Valone Pisapia is an Italian-Romanian artist born in Bucharest in 1981. He completed his higher education in the UK, with an MA in Transpersonal Arts & Therapy, 2014; a Diploma in Transformative Arts, 2011; and a BA (Hons) in Film and Video, 2005. Pisapia studied sculpture throughout his higher education and appreciated several sculptor mentors in the UK. Since 2016, he has resided in India, where he is currently an artist in residence at Studio Sukriti in Jaipur. He has had several solo exhibitions in India and his artwork is found in private collections worldwide. "It's important for me to experience the world at a deeper level by penetrating the veil of the senses. Through an immersive process the essence, beauty and the pure form of an idea are gradually revealed to me. The emerging awareness flows into my artwork imbuing it with a higher reality. To achieve this awareness in my creative process, I go through three stages: imagination, inspiration and intuition." - Flavius PisapiaCategory
