About the Item

The artist works with handmade ceramic pieces which she makes one by one, without using any molds. The texture seen on each one is done using only her hands, without any tools. She then glazes them and once finished, creates a pattern which she creates at the moment she makes the artwork. The patterns are not premeditated at the moment the ceramic parts are made, rather created at the moment the piece is assembled. This is why it is impossible to have two equal artworks, each one is unique. This series was created especially for this show, and it is inspired by the movement of the water and the poetic reflections it creates at the bottom of the ocean. It is meant to create a calm environment and bring natural elements to interior spaces.
