Rustic Ranch Oak Step End Table with 2 Drawers & Acorn Brown finish by A. Brandt
By A. Brandt Ranch Oak Furniture
Located in Topeka, KS
Awesome vintage rustic Ranch Oak step end table with two drawers & Acorn Brown finish by A. Brandt. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Back was missing for the drawered upper section and a new back was put in place and stained to match. Had a water ring that was repaired with restore-a-finish. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th -Late-20th Century. Rugged, Rustic, and Ranch Oak!! This is a SUPERB vintage step end table by A. Brandt comprised of a rustic solid ranch oak frame with an Acorn Brown finish that is signature to A. Brandt Company furniture. The all-over woodgrain is outstanding, and the finish is gorgeous. The step cube or box has two drawers with square wood pulls, and it has wonderful farm or country style legs with pegs through the tabletop… a cool detail! Can’t you just see this table amongst the décor in the Yellowstone Ranch?? We sure can!! Obviously, this step end table will be beautiful at the end of your comfy sofa with an antler base lamp or western style table lamp of any kind. But it would also be wonderful in a rustic style sitting room beside your favorite chair with books, a plant, or some cactus. Or in your rustic mountain cottage in a sitting room or sunroom next to a loveseat or daybed. The possibilities are endless because of its versatility and overall simplistic beauty. A Brandt Company was established in 1900 by German immigrant August Brandt...

Original Vintage Cowboy "Ranch Oak" Armchair w/Horseshoe Arms & Cactus, Too
By A. Brandt Ranch Oak Furniture
Located in Chicago, IL
Stellar vintage American "Ranch Oak" armchair retaining it's original naugahyde upholstery with a cactus desert scene. Strong and surdy, this furniture was built to last a lifetime. Popular amongst many collectors, this furniture is part of a niche market. Whether you own one piece as an accent or furnish an entire home, these items will endure many more years use. Every time I happen upon a piece of Ranch Oak furniture, I am instantly transported to my childhood of trips west to California on US Route 66. There were a whole slew of motels and motor inns dotting the highway furnished with TV's, telephones, air conditioning and if you were lucky Ranch Oak Originals. Don't miss these enduring and functional furnishings. In the late 1930's a legendary Fort Worth, Texas furniture company was born, A. Brandt and Sons. Known worldwide for their strong and sturdy cowboy style furnishings, their Ranch Oak line is highly collectible and reguarded as fun and funky well constructed vintage American furniture. Dust; cactus; broncos; branding. A long, lonely trail; cowboy ditties sung to the soft sound of a guitar around a campfire. Thirst; Indians, both hostile and friendly; pine trees set against lofty mountains. This was the world of the brave men and women who brought civilization to the West, making their own trails, building history, building homes in a hostile environment, creating rustic ranch furniture from whatever materials were at hand. Ranch Life Around the turn of the century, Buffalo Bill Cody's 'Wild West Show' captured the imagination of the civilized world with its portrayal of the excitements and hardships of ranch life in the West. This lifestyle has continued to hold a place in the hearts of those who long for adventure, for solitude, for the beauty of an unspoiled environment, and for the chance to live life to the full using initiative and courage. Ranch Pole and Plank Furniture The great American heritage of the Wild West was continued in the 'dude ranches' that became popular in the early part of the 20th century. Entrepreneurs of this period such as Carl Dunrud created pole and plank furniture in the style of the pioneers for these ranches, and unwittingly began a great tradition in American furniture. Popular ranch resorts such as Kings Ranch used the styles of the furniture ranch hands built by hand in the Wild West era. Ranch Furniture Origins In 1931, American furniture designer Thomas Molesworthy created a popular range of upmarket Ranch Style furniture, borrowing ideas from the Craftsman style, as well as the Eastern Lodge style. Emphasizing quality of materials and workmanship, Molesworthy created a functional and attractive style of his own which was soon copied by other manufacturers. Brandt Ranch Oak Furniture...
