2009 - 2020 he lives and works in Cracow employed on Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow as a teacher His works have been purchased by the Frissiras Museum in Athen, and appear in private collections around the world.
Książek was selected for the important art shortlist in a Book: „100 Painters of Tomorrow” – organised by Thames&Hudson and Beers. Lambert. London
For Bogumil Ksiazek, the practice of painting is a subject in itself. Guided by the principles of uncertainty and eclecticism, he follows a thread, carefully feeling his way along it, and illuminating it with the tools he has to hand – fingers, brushes, computer, collage – all with consummate ease. Abstraction he treats as gesture, or as geometry to be superimposed, combined, or conflated with a figurative register, this process creating marks, smudges and stains. This fusion of abstract with figurative is the surrealistic method he employs in his search. His palette, with its seemingly random twists and turns, follows its own path; at times intense, at times reduced to a subdued monochrome.(Biography provided by Galerie Sandhofer)

Patrick LoCicero was born in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1959. He attended Youngstown State University, Ohio, and the Columbus College of Art and Design. He completed a B.F.A. at Ohio State University in 1982 and an M.F.A. at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1986. His paintings, installations, prints, and multimedia work have been shown in California, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. LoCicero's richly layered imagery is characterized by unusual juxtapositions of everyday objects and classical motifs, which play with the viewer's perception of materials and subjects. LoCicero’s assemblage paintings combine collage with painting.
