Eyitayo Alagbe

Nigerian, b. 1997
Joy Eyitayo Alagbe Is a mixed media artist based in Ibadan, Nigeria. He was Born on June 14, 1997, in Ogbomoso, Oyo State Nigeria. Art has always been part of Eyitayo’s life as he draws inspiration from the life experiences of the people surrounding him and the way we are as African. After studying at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, where he gained an NCE certificate in Fine and Applied art, Eyitayo Alagbe decided to follow his desire to become an artist. Intrigued by the mysteries of the human figure as a unique work of nature, he uses it to create works that speak to subjects he feels are neglected or not spoken about in Nigeria. Eyitayo works in many artistic mediums but has a preference for Charcoal pencil and acrylic on paper and canvas, mixing charcoal and acrylic within a single composition because of its versatility and texture. He devotes his time in the studio to the study of his artistic technique and the search for continuous improvement of his expressive capabilities. Eyitayo’s art speaks about black power, hope, joy, pain, sociopolitical issues, and the way we are as African Eyitayo participated in several group exhibitions both physical and virtual exhibitions which allows him to showcase his works to the world (Ibadan Arnheim Collections Art exhibition 2021), (Open Windows by VAV Art gallery 2021). And had collectors in the US and Mexico

Yoga Feelings On My Vintage Jacket
Located in Ibadan, Oyo
Alagbe's artwork draws attention to the man's jacket, which showcases his bare chest. The jacket, reminiscent of a vintage style, represents the layers we often wear to shield ourselves from the world. By revealing his bare chest, the man symbolizes a willingness to be vulnerable and open to self-exploration. The jacket becomes a canvas for introspection, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own inner journeys toward peace and self-discovery. The quote by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, "We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds," resonates deeply with Alagbe's artwork. It highlights the idea that true peace cannot be attained externally unless we find serenity within ourselves. The artwork invites viewers to examine their own inner landscape and cultivate a sense of harmony, balance, and compassion toward themselves and others. Embedded within the artwork is another profound quote, this time from The Bhagavad Gita...

Geobond - Colorful Authentic Urban Map Currency Painting
By Fabio Coruzzi
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Italian artist Fabio Coruzzi merges painting and photography into one imaginative image that offers a new outlook on an otherwise ordinary urban scene. His artworks represent an authenticity unlike any other: layered, textural, controversial, open to imagination, colorful, personal, and inspiring. Coruzzi’s work encapsulates not only urban environments, but the inhabitants as well. Irony is laced between figures drawn with an energetic architectural hand. His work is colorful, funny, and biting through resolutely rendered vignettes of people and places. Fabio Coruzzi used acrylic paint, oil pastel, gel ink, and graphite to create this one-of-a-kind artwork on canvas. It is signed by the artist on the back. This colorful 24-inch high by 38-inch wide original painting is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. It does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Fabio Coruzzi was born in Foggia, Italy in 1975, and now resides in Southern California, USA. Remarking on his work in conjunction with his perspective on urban environments, Fabio states: "I wish that each painting I make should be like a poem of the place where I've been. I wish to become a poet of our time, like somebody would tell: "I've been there", but telling that my way, telling the audience that, no matter where we are, in a boulevard or in a restaurant, each single place is like an empty box...
