French designer Marie-Claude de Fouquieres designed this stunning fractal resin table lamp for the French lighting company Ombre et Lumiere, Paris, in the 1970s. The piece boasts a large resin block with a vivid yellow color, nickel-plated base, and structure. The table lamp is rewired to fit US standards. The brand-new shade is included. The piece is engraved on the bottom: Ombre et Lumiere - Paris. The table lamp is in good condition, with tiny chips on the resin block edge, but it does not significantly affect the overall appearance. Check the close-up. Note: Marie-Claude de Fouquières was the wife of a leading French industrialist in plastics. Dissatisfied with the furniture designs available to her in the 1960s, Marie-Claude de Fouquières produced her first table in 1969 in polyester resin.
