Constructed from solid Burmese teak and featuring a clever butcherblock seat design this splendid Danish-made set is in 100% original, vintage condition making it perfect for collectors and designers alike. Erik Jørgensen established his furniture upholstery workshop in 1954. Trained as a saddler and upholsterer, his understanding of materials, passion for furniture and knowledge of market trends propelled him to design a number of sofa collections and later chair and stool designs that are still in production today. With their sleek, ergonomically-minded wooden seats, bentwood hoop-shaped backrests and exceptional solid teak woodgrains this set a designers dream.
