About the Item
This is a rare, oversized cotton, vintage Geoffrey Beene rectangular scarf with a novelty grid pattern. The black grid lines are filled with shades of gray, blue, red and white to make the large image of what looks like a clown playing a drum. He's sitting by the sea, with a boat or ship on the horizon. They almost look like legos! The scarf is in excellent condition and the tag reads Geoffrey Beene New York, 100% Cotton Made in Italy 45"x60"
