Vintage c1940s marten fur stole, Tippet
About the Item
A beautiful vintage c1940s real fur stole or tippet.
It is a large and luxurious stole, made from high quality real marten fur with the head, tail and feet intact, one foot is missing, the stole has glass eyes and a celluloid clip under the head to clip / hold in place.
The stole is lined.
It hails from a time when a well to do lady would be adorned by the finest fur stole, warming the shoulders and neck whilst wearing a beautiful vintage dress.
Unmarked, c1940s English make.
Condition:
Good used condition, signs of use and wear, some marks to the lining and general wear, missing one foot.
Approx measurements:
44" length
7.5" width each side
It has not been cleaned by us so may require cleaning prior to use.
