Black Shaggy Astrakhan Persian Lamb Fur Collared Pelerine Stole–O/S, 1920s

About the Item

Unusual for its longer, plush Persian lamb fur instead of the traditional tightly-curled variety, this petite shrug provides just enough coverage to keep one’s shoulders covered over a sleeveless or strapless gown. A glamorous addition to the Jazz Baby styles of the 20s or the sinuous silhouettes of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Black Persian lamb shrug with English spread collar and single braided button and loop at throat; collar may be worn up or down. Body curves gently around shoulder blades at back and comes to two Puritan-style points in front.
