Original Paramount Junior Chicago 1940s Chartreuse & Black Crepe Dress
About the Item
Original Paramount Junior Chicago 1940s chartreuse & black crepe dress with rhinestone bodice. The bodice of this amazing dress is sprinkled with small prong set rhinestones, it has notched cap sleeves, it closes at the front with self buttons and hidden snaps at the neck, a Peter Pan collar has an attached self bow at the neck front and padded shoulders. The top is seamed at the waist and has darts at the front and back sides. The black skirt has inverted pleats at the front center that open below about low hip, there are drapes at either side of the pleats front sides. Back hip seams from waist to hem. The dress closes at the side with a painted metal zipper. Unlined, the seams are pinked and the hem is taped. There is one missing rhinestone at the right front about mid way down about 3 1/2" from the front closure. Fits like a modern small 4.
In excellent wearable condition. All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear. Any condition issues will be noted. For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4.
