70s Vintage Black Beaded Illusion Lace Opera Coat Evening Wear Button Front M
About the Item
Vintage black beaded opera coat, likely made in the early 70s. Made from black floral illusion lace, it's dotted with black beads throughout and fastens with tiny lace-covered buttons down the entire front, allowing one to wear closed as a dress or as an elegant evening coat.
Unusual and chic, it's perfect for your upcoming events, parties and celebrations.
Lined in nude satin. No manufacturers, size or care label; spot clean recommended. No size tag but we're estimating this as a modern size M, based on these measurements (taken flat and doubled where appropriate): shoulders - 16.5in, bust - 36in, waist - 27in, hips - 38in, sleeves - 22in, length (from back collar) - 52in.
Preowned/vintage with signs of age, use and prior wear: loose stitching on one area of the nude lining, some missing beads and sequins, and small holes in lace netting (hard to see unless closely inspecting); at some point, someone added shoulder pads, which can be easily removed.
