This is such a seductive and enchanting look from the rare Philip Hulitar 'Old Hollywood' designer label. Perfect for any upcoming event; you can't help but feel feminine in this beauty! "The star of a gifted designer has risen recently on the fashion horizon," The New York Times reported after Philip Hulitar opened his own firm in 1949 and I can definitely see why. This luxurious garment is fashioned from stunning light-weight silk chiffon that has been hand-pleated. The gorgeous three-dimensional ruching giving the garment so much depth and texture. The bodice has an exquisite draped one-shoulder that continues down the backside and couture style corset boning. I love the hourglass nipped waist silhouette which is so figure flattering. A dramatic velvet-bow accented side-swag that connects to the shoulder finishes this showstopper off with a perfect femme fatale vibe! The construction is so fresh and modern yet still has that perfect timeless quality.

This Philip Hulitar designer dress is in wonderful condition with no holes, fade or alternations. Presents beautifully! Perfectly working original side zipper in place and complete with interior bustier boning. Only sign of age are some very faint surface spots to the backside chiffon.
